What
We Do
The Chamber is a coalition of business
and community entities working collectively
to make Dinuba a better place to work,
live and play. The chamber is the crucibal
in which ideas are born, debated and brought
to life. The Chamber then acts as the
voice of the coalition.
Some
of the issues being addressed by the
Chamber include revitalization of Downtown
Dinuba, transportation, clean air and
policies that support a strong economic
climate and quality of life.
Economic Development
The
Dinuba Chamber of Commerce is all about
building the economy. It's first in
our mission statement: Driving regional
economic prosperity. We work to generate
business opportunities and create an
environment for sustained prosperity.
There's
nothing new about that. Since 1912,
the Chamber has focused on making Dinuba
a greater place to do business, live
and play.
Retaining
and strengthening existing businesses.
Promoting
investment and new businesses.
Creating
new jobs at existing and new businesses.
Work
with the City of Dinuba, the State
of California and regional local governments
to build a better business climate.
Nurture
and promote business development for
start-ups and opportunities for arts
and entertainment businesses.
Public
Policy
The
Chamber provides a united front for
the business community that leverages
the impact of individual businesses
on local, state and federal public policy.
The Chamber's work with city and county
initiatives create a strong, sustained
influence on public decisions that will
make Dinuba a better place for businesses
and families alike.
Monitor
emerging issues and determine impact
on the business community.
Inform
decision makers at all levels of Dinuba's
needs, stressing business friendly
policies and local economic growth.
Work
to establish and grow relationships
with businesses, the community, decision
makers and their staffs to ensure success
when action is needed.
Education
and Workforce Development
The
Dinuba Chamber of Commerce is committed
to education. Educational resources
are a key determinant of the quality
of life in our region. An educated workforce
is a vital building block in the economic
development equation that attracts and
retains large and small employers here.
The Chamber will continue to support
the Dinuba Vocational Center and the
many centers of higher education in
California.
